This all free-all day event will take place at the TechDays, Belgians largest IT conference, on March 5th, exclusively for students.
The main theme of this year’s conference is “Apps and Applications”. This has become such an important industry trend that we want to give students the opportunity to learn firsthand from Belgian and International top speakers on the subject.

Pour la 4ème année consécutive, une Olympiade d'Informatique est organisée en Belgique par plusieurs universités et hautes-écoles.
L'Olympiade belge d'Informatique est une compétition de programmation, d'algorithmique et de logique destinée aux élèves du secondaire. Les lauréats du concours ont l'opportunité de participer à l'Olympiade Internationale d'Informatique organisée en Australie. L'année passée, 4 étudiants belges ont participé avec succès à l'Olympiade Internationale d'Informatique en remportant une médaille d'argent et une médaille de bronze.

Symposium on Future Generations of Processors and Systems (FGPS'175)

In the framework of 175th anniversary celebration of the Faculty of Engineering, University of Mons, we have the pleasure to invite you to a one-day symposium gathering together academic and industrial experts, researchers and Ph.D. students around the future of processors and computer systems. This event will mix talks about electronic, computer science, both at the environment and the application levels.

Windows Phone 8 ½ day (October 16th,17h30-20h30), “Windows Phone App development” session where students will learn how to build a windows phone App based on state-of-the art technology.

Ce séminaire, assuré par MM. Jonathan Leman (Ingénieur IG AIMs) et Joseph Stojanov de la société Hermès Engineering de Nivelles, offrira aux étudiants un aperçu du monde de la Business Intelligence en entreprise. En partant de questions concrètes, nous aborderons l’ensemble des solutions I.T. mises en place par Hermès et les autres acteurs du secteur. Durant ce parcours, l’accent sera mis sur les concepts élémentaires qui ont permis au domaine d’apporter une réelle plus-value aux différents secteurs de la vie économique. Enfin, nous terminerons par une large panorama sur les défis et perspectives qu’offre la B.I. pour le futur.

This day aims to bring together Ph.D. students and researchers involved in the GRASCOMP doctoral school in computer science and engineering.
