The Mathematics and Operational Research (MathRO) is recruiting 2 teaching assistants/Ph.D. students starting September 1st, 2009.

• Status: 2-years contract, renewable twice.
• Experience needed: Engineering, mathematics or computer science degree.
• Job Description:
  
  • practical sessions in mathematics (algebra and/or calculus), level BA1 et BA2
  • depending on the qualifications, assist the practical sessions in numerical analysis, statistics and probabilities, optimization and/or operational research.
  • in 6 years maximum, complete a Ph.D. thesis in one of the research fields from the department : optimization, operational research, data mining and classification, decision aid, numerical analysis.
